How To Replace A Wheel

Duration: 10 Minutes | Instructions: For 1 Person | Tools Needed: 1 x Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1: Open your case and unzip the lining of your case. Locate the wheel you would like to replace and begin unscrewing the screws. The screws may be covered by a protective sticker; you will need to remove this.
Step 2: Remove the old wheel by pulling it away from the suitcase. Insert your new wheel onto the suitcase as demonstrated.
Step 3: Hold the wheel from one side and screw the screws into place. Repeat this process if you have multiple wheels to replace. Once this is done, your new wheels are ready to go!

How To Replace A Trolley Handle

Duration: 15 Minutes | Instructions: For 1 Person | Tools Needed: 1 x Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1: Open your case and unzip the lining of your case, locate the trolley handle and begin to unscrew the handles casing at the top of the suitcase.
Step 2: Repeat this process for the handles casing at the bottom of the suitcase. Remove the trolley handle by pulling it from above the suitcase.
Step 3: Insert your new trolley handle into the top of your suitcase. Screw your new trolley handle into place. Once this is done, your new trolley handle is ready to go!

How To Replace A TSA Lock

Duration: 10 Minutes | Instructions: For 1 Person | Tools Needed: 1 x Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1: Open your case and unzip the lining of your case. Locate the TSA lock and begin to unscrew the TSA lock's casing.
Step 2: Remove the old TSA lock and insert your new TSA lock into place from the outside of the suitcase.
Step 3: Screw your new TSA lock into place. Once this is done, your new TSA lock is ready to go!

How To Replace A Top Handle

Duration: 10 Minutes | Instructions: For 1 Person | Tools Needed: 1 x Phillips Screwdriver
Step 1: Open your case and unzip the lining of your case, locate the handle you'd like to replace and begin to unscrew the handle casing.
Step 2: Once the casing is removed, you will be able to pull out the current handle. To fit a new handle, you will need to insert the ends of the handle into the handle spaces in the suitcase.
Step 3: Place the handle casings and begin screwing them back into place. Once this is done, your new handle is ready to go!

How do I get a replacement part for my luggage?

We stock some spare parts, including wheels, handles, TSA locks plus more for our cases.

Will this affect my 10 year warranty?

No, replacing parts provided by it Luggage will not affect your 10-year warranty. Your warranty will remain fully intact.

How long does it take to replace parts?

Each part will be slightly different depending on the complexity of placement but please see estimated durations below for 1 person.

Top Handle: 10 Minutes

Trolley Handle: 15 Minutes

TSA Lock: 10 Minutes

Wheel: 10 Minutes

Will I need to pay for my luggage to be repaired?

Our 10-year warranty covers material and production defects and in these instances spare parts will be provided free of charge.

For damage that is not covered by warranty, we can often provide spare parts for a small charge.

Do I need to send my suitcase to it Luggage for repair?

In most instances, it is not necessary to send us your case for repair. Most suitcase components such as wheels and handles are fixed with screws to the suitcase shell and can be changed at home with a Phillips screwdriver in less than 10 minutes.
